We spent a long weekend borrowing my in-laws camper at a state park near their house. Since we're up early and campers are small, we decided a walk to the beach was in order. Coffee poured, pajamas still on, we walked down to the beach. Although the sun was beyond rising point, we caught it just peeking out from behind the clouds. We had the entire beach to ourselves. The water was not really that warm, but it didn't stop us from dipping our toes in, which quickly turned into soaked pajama pants and babies crawling in sand in diapers. It was a fantastic way to start the day.
Now onto my friend Lori of Lori Frederick Photography for her installment of our blog circle, found here! If you are not already a fan of her facebook page, I'd highly recommend you head over and 'like' her work, your news feed will thank me!

We celebrated a birthday around here. A big ONE. There was cake and balloons and of course a photo shoot.
May is here! Spring is here too! Well, I guess you can call this spring. The past month has brought us melting snow and mud puddles. Chilly temperatures couldn't keep us inside any longer! After a trip through the toy isle, two new rubber ducks had a new home in our front yard. I mean, really, what mud puddle doesn't need a visitor?
The past month was filled with two year old wonder over mud puddles and rocks and adventures of a rubber duck. Life is good.
